CHTT – Certified Hot Tub Technician™
The Certified Hot Tub Technician™ program covers the essentials of servicing portable and permanently installed hot tubs and spas, and equipment repair and replacement.
The PHTA™ Hot Tub Technician Manual is the textbook for the course. To become certified as a CHTT Certified Hot Tub Technician®, you must participate in the 4 day CHTT Course, based on the PHTA™ Hot Tub Technician Manual. Upon completion of the training program, you will be eligible to take the CHTT exam.
New employees are eligible, however, this is challenging course, so 6 months to 1 years experience within the hot tub industry or a background in domestic electrics is recommended.
The course fees include course registration, course fee, individually wrapped lunch, PHTA™ Exam Fee & Certification. The course is £799+VAT per candidate (£699+VAT for BISHTA Members). Delivered in our COVID-Secure Training Centre.

Testing
All APSP certification exams are proctored and administered at SpaTech Training as an authorised testing centre. Testing normally occurs on the morning immediately after he CHTT Course
Retesting
If you didn’t pass the exam, don’t worry. You can retest. We encourage you to reschedule your exam within a year of your testing date to avoid having to take the course again.
